The Firestop Spacer is designed to fit securely to the underside of rafters where the flue passes through the ceiling, providing essential protection against fire hazards. This spacer helps maintain the required air gap between the flue and any combustible materials, ensuring safety and compliance with building regulations.
Constructed from heavy-duty galvanized steel, the Firestop Spacer is built for durability and long-lasting performance. It has CE approval, and all Jeremias products are HETAS approved, quality tested, and come with a 25-year warranty, giving you peace of mind regarding its reliability and safety.
Please note: This product is specifically designed for use with twin wall flue systems, and all measurements are based on the internal diameter of the flue.
Installation Guide: The twin wall system features a simple push-fit joint design. To install the Firestop Spacer, position it at the underside of your rafters where the flue passes through the ceiling, ensuring a secure fit. This straightforward push-fit system allows for quick and easy assembly, making it one of the simplest systems to construct on the market today.
