The Black Increasing Adapter for Stove Pipe is designed to provide a stepped increase in your vitreous flue run by 1 inch. This component is essential when you need to connect pipes of different diameters, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining the efficiency of your flue system.
Typically used to connect your stove or appliance to either a Flexible Flue Liner or a Twin Wall Insulated Flue, this adapter allows for flexible installation options without compromising performance.
For safety, it is important to install the vitreous stove pipe at least 3 times its internal diameter away from any combustible materials. Please note that this stove pipe is intended for internal connection use only and should never be installed externally on any property.
While the stove pipe features a compression fit for easy assembly, we recommend applying a thin layer of fire cement at each joint to ensure a secure and airtight seal.
