The Storm Collar for 316 1mm Stove Pipe is an essential component designed to prevent rain ingress into your flue system. This collar effectively creates a watertight seal around the flue pipe where it passes through the roof or ceiling, safeguarding your installation from moisture damage.
Crafted from durable 316 stainless steel, this storm collar is built to withstand harsh weather conditions, ensuring the longevity and reliability of your flue system.
Installation Guide:
When installing the 316/1mm stove pipe, make sure it is placed at least 3 times its internal diameter away from any combustible materials, such as plasterboard ceilings or wood. For instance, a 6" diameter pipe should maintain a minimum distance of 18" from combustible materials.
To ensure a secure and airtight fit, each joint should be sealed with fire cement. Please note that the 316 flue pipe is intended solely as a connecting piece between your appliance (e.g., woodstove) and the flue liner or chimney stack.
