The Gather Hood is an essential component for open fire installations, designed to be placed at the base of the chimney stack. It efficiently funnels smoke from an open fire into the flue liner, helping to improve draft and ensuring the safe expulsion of smoke and gases. Available in multiple diameters to suit various liner sizes, this unit is made to accommodate different chimney setups.
Installation Guide:
Secure the gather hood inside the chimney stack, ensuring it is properly aligned. Render over the mesh section using fire cement or screed to create a sealed, durable connection between the hood and the chimney structure. This ensures efficient smoke flow and helps maintain the integrity of the chimney.
